Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 5 years of OR experience for a Monday to Friday day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency/Operating Room Radiology unit
- Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 08:30 to 17:00
- Thirteen-week contract assignment
- Patient care occurs in a hospital setting
- Utilizes Epic for charting (experience with Epic preferred)
- Responsibilities include operating radiologic equipment and providing imaging support to surgical procedures
- All team members must demonstrate proficiency handling radiology equipment in the operating room
- Public transportation or paid public parking options available; parking is not validated
- Local candidates are accepted but must reside more than 60 miles from the facility for standard travel pay rates
- Scrubs/dress code details provided during onboarding
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in the OR setting
- ARRT certification required
- Active MA Radiologic Technologist license required for consideration (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
- Current BLS certification through AHA required
- Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- License required if applicable
