Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for an evening shift assignment requiring 2+ years of MRI experience and current ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the MRI department of an acute care hospital
• Evening schedule, Monday to Friday from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
• Call coverage required as needed
• Patient care includes assistance with breast MRI patients and positioning
• Participation in orientation modules required before start and annually
• Return staff must be gone for at least 2 years to be eligible
• Navy blue scrubs are required
• Free parking is provided
• Up to 7 days of requested time off can be automatically approved
• Travelers may be required to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years MRI experience required; 1.5 years accepted with Level I trauma or prior travel experience
• Connecticut MRI license required if applicable
• Must hold ARMRIT and/or ARRT (MR) certification to obtain CT license
• 1 professional reference required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required; religious or medical exemptions accepted
• Must live more than 75 miles from the facility for eligibility
