Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for night shifts in a critical care setting, requiring a ME or compact license and at least one year of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Intensive Care Unit/CCU of a hospital
  • Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend is required
  • Flu vaccination is required for all start dates of 9/30/2024 and beyond, with medical exemptions available upon review
  • Travelers may receive the flu vaccine at the facility clinic or pharmacy without an appointment
  • Manager interviews are required
  • Work history should detail hospital name, location, bed size, trauma level, and charting system used
  • Do not submit travel pairs to the same position

Requirements

  • Active ME or compact RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year ICU experience
  • Current certifications must be provided for consideration
  • Full Social Security Number and valid Driver's License required
  • Must provide two references within the past year, with at least one from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge Nurse
  • Permanent address must be 100+ miles South/Southwest of Bangor, Maine to be eligible
  • Candidates must not have been previously employed in a permanent position at any Northern Light Health Hospital
