Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient position, requiring a current PT license and a minimum of one year of outpatient or inpatient experience.

Responsibilities

• Primarily outpatient physical therapy with 80-90% of caseload, and 10-20% inpatient or swing bed coverage
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no weekend shifts
• Patient load averages 10-13 patients per day
• Uses EPIC for documentation; prior experience is preferred
• Position requires flexibility with job territory
• Locals are accepted at the travel rate
• Main duties include planning, organizing, and implementing individualized treatment programs based on patient needs
• Work as part of an experienced, highly engaged interdisciplinary team
• Business casual attire required
• Free residential parking is available
• COVID-19 and flu vaccine declinations are accepted
• All required compliance documentation must be completed before starting work; compliance may take 2-3 weeks
• All requests for time off must be submitted with application and will not be accepted after a job offer is made

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license required; will consider applicants with pending state license if applicable
• Minimum one year of recent experience in PT outpatient or inpatient settings
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy
• Current BLS certification required
• Technical knowledge of electronic medical records, preferably Epic
