Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist for a day shift role in the Pittsburg, KS area, requiring at least 1 year of recent experience and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Home health setting with a geriatric patient population
Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from office hub
Average caseload is 5-7 patients per day
Requires experience with HCHB EMR system
No on-call required
Locals accepted at travel rate
Timely communication and documentation are required
Dress code requires scrubs in any color, no jeans
iPad provided for documentation; cell phone use is not permitted
Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of recent home health experience
Current BLS certification
Experience with HCHB EMR required
