Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position working night shifts on an oncology floor with high patient ratios in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Work on a Medical Surgical unit with an oncology patient population
• Typical patient ratio is 1:6 to 1:7
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00–07:00)
• Every other weekend required
• Block scheduling may be considered
• EMRs used are Cerner and Soarian
• Royal blue scrubs required and are not provided
• Minimal or no requested time off will be accommodated
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Candidates must reside over 30 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum one year of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Experience with higher patient ratios is required
• Telemetry and IV start skills required
• Oncology nursing experience highly preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
