Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position that requires a CA RN license and Level 1 Trauma experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the ICU of a hospital setting
• Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 to 07:30)
• Rotating schedule with potential to work any day Sunday through Saturday
• May be required to float to similar or lower acuity units, excluding the ED, as needed
• Schedule requires four weekend shifts in a four-week cycle and at least one winter holiday including the holiday weekend
• Must have a positive and upbeat attitude
• Must be flexible with assignments and open to floating as needed within the health system
• Candidates will be notified two hours prior to shift start if assigned to a different unit within the system
• Holiday coverage is required for at least one winter holiday
• Must be willing to work a variable schedule including weekends

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required at time of consideration
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
