Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a WI or compact RN license and a minimum of two years of recent ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment
• May be required to float within skill set onsite or to other sites within a 40-mile radius as needed
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Rotating every other weekend (EOW) or as needed by department
• Rotating every other holiday (EOH) with regular staff
• Team environment with support from regular staff
• No COVID-19 vaccination required for assignment
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate per radius rule, with the specific radius varying by state
• First-time travelers are considered for this assignment
• References and copies of certifications, license verification, and driver's license required for consideration

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC certification required and must be renewed every four years
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
• Must provide U.S. Social Security Number and U.S. home address
