Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent hospital experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a general rehabilitation services unit within a hospital setting
• Work schedule is 08:00 to 16:30 with rotating holidays and a requirement to work 6 weekend days per 13-week assignment
• No call responsibilities are required
• May be required to float within the facility or to sites within 40 miles, as needed
• Utilizes Epic for electronic medical records
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and a valid US home address for consideration
• Local candidates are eligible but may be offered a reduced rate based on facility radius rules
• Holiday shifts are assigned on a rotating basis with regular staff
• Will collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehab team and may float to cover within scope as needed
• COVID vaccine is no longer a requirement for this position
• Scrub or dress code requirements may apply per department policy

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy license required if applicable
• Active BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital experience as a Physical Therapist required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
