Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a WI or compact license, ER background, and AHA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Cares for patients with diverse emergency needs
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Float required within skill set and to other sites within 40 miles as needed
• Every other weekend or as needed by the department
• Works with Epic EMR system
• May be required to rotate holiday coverage with regular staff
• Must provide driver’s license for identification
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Unit may require Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification (optional)
• Local candidates are accepted but may receive a reduced pay rate based on facility radius rules
• COVID vaccine is not required

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all AHA only), TNCC, NIHSS
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US address required
