Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a NM or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work on a Medical Surgical unit in an inpatient hospital setting
• Night shift, 4x12 hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Float required to similar units, with occasional 'helping hands' support to other units
• EPIC EMR use preferred, but not required
• 13-week contract assignment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
• A maximum of 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be approved, with no RTO allowed during the first week of orientation
• Scrubs of any color may be worn, but no logos are permitted

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical RN experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Former permanent staff must have at least 1 year since last employment before applying
