Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Massachusetts requiring both circulating and scrub skills across multiple specialties.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Patient population includes transplant (liver and kidney), vascular, neuro, trauma, MVA, gunshot wounds, pediatrics, and general surgery cases
• Scrubbing and circulating in a wide range of specialties including transplant, endo, vascular emergencies, neuro, trauma, and micro
• Day shift schedule with four 12-hour shifts per week from 11:00 to 23:30
• Required to participate in call rotation: one night every third weekend
• Will participate in a multidisciplinary OR team handling high-acuity and emergent cases
• Exposure to trauma and specialty surgical environments including pediatric patients
• Compliance with hospital-specific testing and orientation modules required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; permanent or conditional accepted
• Must have both scrub and circulate experience in the stated specialty areas
• Two professional references required, one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Passing score on EKG test required
• Must not have prior issues on nursing license
• Must live at least 200 miles from the facility
