Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a LA or compact RN license and at least 2 years of OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Operating Room setting
• Day shift, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, 5 days per week (8-hour shifts)
• No floating required
• On-call required daily from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM and on weekends for 24 hours, typically 2 days per week and one weekend per month
• CVOR experience is preferred but not required
• May be assigned to an Emergency Team with the expectation to remain at the facility during emergency events as directed by the unit manager
• Relief team participation may be required during emergencies
• Discuss all requested time off during the interview process

Requirements

• Active LA or compact RN license required
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• First time travelers will be considered
• Must reside at least 65 miles away from the facility
