Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications and a NC or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in the Recovery Room (PACU) of a hospital surgical services department
Shifts are AM and alternate between 10 and 12 hours weekly
No on-call requirements
Provide post-anesthesia nursing care in a high-acuity surgical recovery setting
Expected to deliver care to a diverse general unit population
Must ensure clinical competence as defined by current nursing standards

Requirements

Active NC or compact RN license required
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
Recent PACU or recovery nursing experience required
