Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position, requiring a FL or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is based on a Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Primarily day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Unit is located on the first floor
• 13-week contract assignment
• Applicants who live within a 50-mile radius of the facility are not eligible for this travel assignment
• Requested time off must be less than one week
• Holiday coverage may be required as needed by the unit
• Returning travelers must adhere to facility-specific rehiring policies

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the contract
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the last 2 years
