Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications and experience in mammographic imaging.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based mammography unit
• Day shift schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
• No weekends, floating, or on-call required
• Perform all types of mammography exams and imaging procedures
• Patient population primarily includes women requiring diagnostic and screening studies
• Utilizes EPIC for charting
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Scrub color requirement is pewter
• No holiday coverage required
• Requests for time off must be submitted in advance and are not accepted after submission
• All candidates must complete labs within 48 hours of offer acceptance
• Candidates within a 50-mile radius are considered local and will be paid at a local rate

Requirements

• Current BLS, ARRT (R), and ARRT (M) certifications required
• Valid state license or certification required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of mammographic imaging techniques and breast disease detection
• Ability to produce high-quality mammography images for diagnosis and early detection
• Compliance with PA state fingerprinting and required background checks
• Completion of orientation modules as assigned
