Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with experience in angiography procedures and familiarity with GE Innova equipment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the angiography unit of a hospital setting
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 8-hour shifts
• Daily call required for the first month of the assignment
• Procedures include angiograms, line placements, kyphoplasty, and percutaneous nephrostomy exams
• Use of GE Innova equipment is involved
• May be responsible for precepting other technologists
• Travelers are required to take daily call during the first month
• No difference in pay rate for local candidates
• Professional attire or scrubs required per hospital policy

Requirements

• RT(ARRT) credential required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required
• Workplace violence prevention certification (such as DCI/BVP) required — may be completed online
• At least 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or angiography specialty
• License required if applicable
