Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT (MRI) and BLS certifications and Siemens and Philips scanner experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a radiology department specializing in diagnostic MRI procedures
- Patient population includes pediatric and adult cases
- Shifts are Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 12-hour day shifts, three shifts per week
- Floating to other units within scope is required
- Uses Siemens and Philips MRI scanners
- Deferred schedule type
- Any color scrubs allowed
- Responsibilities include performing MRI scans and ensuring quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Must document previous travel experience on resume if applicable
- Team environment with support from MRI supervisors and management
- No on-call required
- RTO must be included for consideration
- Facility will not accept candidates unable to receive a flu vaccine
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience
- Current ARRT (MRI) certification and BLS required
- Experience operating Siemens and Philips MRI scanners
- Must provide 2 recent MRI supervisor or manager references
- Skills checklist matching MRI specialty
- Must be nicotine free and successfully pass nicotine testing
- Flu vaccination required with no exceptions
- License required if applicable
