Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Texas requiring one year of recent ED experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department (ED) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• 13-week travel contract
• Patient population includes all ED acuity levels
• No local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Holiday and weekend shift coverage may be required as part of rotation
• Must ensure all required certifications remain valid throughout the assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Emergency Department nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted)
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• PALS certification required
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or approved equivalent required
• TNCC certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must provide US Social Security Number and Date of Birth for consideration
• Must provide at least one professional reference
