Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least one year of recent outpatient orthopedic experience for a four-day-a-week, day shift position.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting
  • Schedule consists of 4 ten-hour day shifts (2 days 7am-5pm, 2 days 7am-6pm)
  • One-on-one 60 minute patient sessions with no overlapping appointments
  • Treatment rooms are situated around a large gym space
  • Epic EMR experience is preferred
  • First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
  • Local candidates are accepted with a 50-mile radius guideline and at a lower rate
  • Travel pairs are permitted
  • Completion of mandatory modules during orientation is required
  • Candidates must not have a latex allergy as accommodations cannot be made
  • Return staff must have been away from the facility for at least one year
  • Professional attire is required; scrubs or dress code not otherwise specified

Requirements

  • Current BLS certification required
  • Active Wisconsin or compact state PT license required for consideration (pending license acceptable); license required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient orthopedic PT experience
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
