Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for Home Health with 2 years of experience and Homecare Homebase/OASIS proficiency.

Details

Provides care in a home health setting
Covers assigned zip codes within Washington, DC
Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
May be required to float to cover additional zip codes as needed
Uses Homecare Homebase for documentation and requires OASIS experience
Personal vehicle required for patient visits; mileage reimbursed at $0.58 per mile from the first to the last patient

Requirements

Current BLS certification required
Active MD PT license required; license required if applicable
Minimum 2 years of recent home health PT experience
Proficiency with Homecare Homebase and OASIS required
Reliable personal vehicle with valid license and insurance required
First-time travelers accepted with OASIS experience

Additional Information

Responsible for evaluating and delivering individualized home health therapy services
Contractors are assigned to specified zip codes based on staffing needs
Mileage must be recorded and submitted weekly for reimbursement
Professional attire and presentation are expected while representing the agency in the community
Locals within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate
All time off requests must be submitted prior to assignment
Open to first-time travelers
