Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for Home Health with 2 years of experience and Homecare Homebase/OASIS proficiency.
Details
- Provides care in a home health setting
- Covers assigned zip codes within Washington, DC
- Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- May be required to float to cover additional zip codes as needed
- Uses Homecare Homebase for documentation and requires OASIS experience
- Personal vehicle required for patient visits; mileage reimbursed at $0.58 per mile from the first to the last patient
Requirements
- Current BLS certification required
- Active MD PT license required; license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of recent home health PT experience
- Proficiency with Homecare Homebase and OASIS required
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid license and insurance required
- First-time travelers accepted with OASIS experience
Additional Information
- Responsible for evaluating and delivering individualized home health therapy services
- Contractors are assigned to specified zip codes based on staffing needs
- Mileage must be recorded and submitted weekly for reimbursement
- Professional attire and presentation are expected while representing the agency in the community
- Locals within 60 miles are accepted at a lower rate
- All time off requests must be submitted prior to assignment
- Open to first-time travelers
