Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a day shift Emergency Department position in Washington requiring a WA or compact RN license and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
• 12-hour day shifts from 0630 to 1900, totaling 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• Ability to pick up extra shifts
• No specific EMR experience required, but knowledge of Meditech is helpful
• Must be a team player with strong knowledge and experience as an ED nurse
• RTO must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract
• Located near Pacific Northwest beaches and the Olympic National Forest
• Full availability for scheduling is expected

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license
• Minimum of 3 years' Emergency Department RN experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Completion of state-approved 6-hour suicide prevention training
• Verification of license and demographics through Nursys
