Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a day shift Emergency Department position in Washington requiring a WA or compact RN license and advanced certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
- 12-hour day shifts from 0630 to 1900, totaling 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract assignment
- Ability to pick up extra shifts
- No specific EMR experience required, but knowledge of Meditech is helpful
- Must be a team player with strong knowledge and experience as an ED nurse
- RTO must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract
- Located near Pacific Northwest beaches and the Olympic National Forest
- Full availability for scheduling is expected
Requirements
- Active WA or compact RN license
- Minimum of 3 years' Emergency Department RN experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
- Completion of state-approved 6-hour suicide prevention training
- Verification of license and demographics through Nursys
