Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift contract in Washington, requiring an active RN license and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in a Med/Surg unit with an adult patient population
  • Located in a hospital setting
  • Night shift hours are 1845-0715
  • 13-week contract assignment with 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend off is provided
  • Floating to other departments in rotation is required
  • Ability to pick up extra shifts during assignment
  • RTO must be approved and added to the end of the contract
  • First time travelers will be considered for this role
  • No radius rule applies for local candidates
  • Position is close to Pacific Northwest beaches and Olympic National Forest

Requirements

  • Active WA or compact RN license
  • Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Completion of approved 6-hour suicide training required
  • Team player mindset and willingness to float required
  • Experience with Meditech EMR is helpful but not required
