Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with experience in advanced cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures for a day shift role requiring weekend and weekday call coverage.
Details
- Work in a progressive cardiac catheterization lab specializing in cardiac, peripheral, vascular (diagnostic and interventional), electrophysiology, and interventional radiology procedures
- Patient population consists primarily of adult cardiac and vascular cases with an average daily census of 6
- Utilizes advanced equipment such as Impella, IABP, Inari, EKOS, Angiojet, Rotoblator, Shockwave, Diamondback, and Medrad/Acist injectors
- Siemens (floor mount, with ceiling mount coming soon) and Cannon labs for imaging
- Epic EMR with Cupid documentation is used
- Day shift of 8–10 hours, five days per week beginning at 6:45 AM
- Every other weekend coverage required
- Up to 3 weekday calls per week with 30-minute response time; call also required every other weekend
- Must be willing and able to work as assigned, including participation in emergency team deployment if needed
Requirements
- Current Cath Lab Technologist license required if applicable
- AHA certifications required
- Proven ability to confidently and independently perform all cardiac catheterization lab procedures
- Experience using advanced cath lab and EP equipment such as Impella, Inari, EKOS, and Rotoblator
- Must live at least 65 miles away; facility does not accept local travelers
- Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

- You may be assigned to an emergency or relief team during events and are expected to remain at the facility or provide relief as directed
- Expectations include a strong teamwork mentality, willingness to share expertise, and prioritizing patient care
- Efficient, highly regarded Code STEMI team in a fast-paced environment
