Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown/Telemetry night position requiring an IN or compact license and strong critical care skills.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital stepdown unit with flexible acuity
- Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
- Every other weekend is required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating to MS level may be required
- Charting is performed using Cerner EMR
- Royal blue scrubs are required
- Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
- Care for patients with varying acuity in a stepdown/telemetry unit
- Travelers may be canceled or may call off up to two times per assignment
- Supportive team environment with standard orientation
- Holiday coverage is required for one holiday per contract
- Must comply with scrub color requirement
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience is required
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required
- NIHSS certification preferred
- No first-time travelers will be considered
- Pending licenses will be accepted
- All travelers must live at least 50 miles from the facility
