Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with an IA or compact RN license and BLS/ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

Assignment in the surgical unit of an acute care hospital
12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
On-call rotation includes holidays, overnight call every 1–2 weeks, and weekend call approximately every 4–5th weekend
Block schedules are not guaranteed
Holidays are included in the on-call rotation
Team-oriented surgical environment with opportunities for collaboration
Block and set schedules are not guaranteed for this role
Only select states offer local rates for RNs; please inquire if you are local

Requirements

Active IA or compact RN license required
Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required
BLS certification must be issued by the American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Licensure and Nursys verification required prior to consideration
