Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 1 year experience and current ARRT-R certification for a rotating assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in a diagnostic radiology unit
- Work involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols and regulatory standards
- 13-week travel assignment with rotating shifts
- Process and transmit images to PACS as part of daily workflow
- Participate in performance improvement and quality control activities
- Responsible for first line customer interaction to ensure imaging needs are met
- Certification for Workplace Violence Prevention may be completed as required
- No pay differentiation for local versus travel candidates
Requirements
- Current CRT issued by CDPH required
- Fluoroscopy permit from CDPH must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Venipuncture certificate required within 3 months of hire
- ARRT-R certification is required
- Graduate of a JRCERT or ABHES accredited program required
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required
- At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred
- Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations
- Proficient computer skills required
- License required if applicable
