Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 1 year experience and current ARRT-R certification for a rotating assignment.

Details

• Position is based in a diagnostic radiology unit
• Work involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols and regulatory standards
• 13-week travel assignment with rotating shifts

Requirements

• Current CRT issued by CDPH required
• Fluoroscopy permit from CDPH must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Venipuncture certificate required within 3 months of hire
• ARRT-R certification is required
• Graduate of a JRCERT or ABHES accredited program required
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required
• At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations
• Proficient computer skills required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Process and transmit images to PACS as part of daily workflow
• Participate in performance improvement and quality control activities
• Responsible for first line customer interaction to ensure imaging needs are met
• Certification for Workplace Violence Prevention may be completed as required
• No pay differentiation for local versus travel candidates
