Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift role requiring an active OH or compact RN license and 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, typically 19:00-07:30
• Patient population includes adult medical and telemetry cases
• Lotus system is used for submitting hours worked
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Assignments cannot exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location
• A minimum 6-month waiting period is required before starting another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location after completing 18 months
• Orientation includes required assessments to ensure clinical competency

Requirements

• Active OH or compact state RN license in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• A minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience is required
• Successful completion of an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation
