Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Telemetry position in a vascular unit requiring a current NY license and Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital vascular telemetry unit
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Assignments are 13 weeks in duration
• Epic EMR is used and prior experience is required
• No local candidates residing in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties
• Medical exemptions for flu vaccine must be signed by a licensed professional; personal or religious exemptions are not accepted
• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of application
• More than three call outs in a 13-week contract may result in termination and make-up shifts are required within 6 weeks
• Blocked scheduling is not permitted
• Travel pairs are not allowed

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry or specialty-specific experience required
• Current BLS certification from AHA or RQI is required
• Experience with Epic EMR is mandatory; no exceptions
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required for consideration, no Canadian SIN accepted
