Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position on a Vascular unit with EPIC EMR proficiency and an active NY RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on a Vascular telemetry unit (C5)
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Telemetry patient population
• EPIC EMR is used and experience is required
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• Competency testing is required; 2 attempts are allowed to pass
• More than 3 call outs in a 13-week assignment may result in contract termination, and make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
• Time-off requests must be made at application
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
• Only one application per traveler is allowed to this facility

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at the time of application
• Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry experience required
• BLS certification from AHA or RQI required
• Flu vaccination required unless a medical exemption is signed by a licensed professional
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Applicants must not reside in certain counties within a 50-mile radius (Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington)
• US Social Security Number is required
• EPIC charting experience is required
