Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 12-hour night shift Emergency Department position in Michigan requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and two years of ED experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Licensed for 5 beds
• 12-hour night shifts
• The nurse will never work alone in the ED
• Uses Centriq EHR system and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, assisting providers with procedures such as intubation, chest tubes, and central lines, and aiding with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges
• No floating to other units or departments
• Scrubs required with no specific color

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum two years of Emergency Department RN experience required
