Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with a BSN for a Med/Surg position in New York requiring a valid NY RN license and BLS/ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

Hospital Med/Surg floor assignment
May float between two Med/Surg units as needed
Scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Every third weekend and two holidays per year are required
Travelers may be required to float between Med/Surg units to meet staffing needs
Completion of hospital education modules prior to assignment start is required
Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
Holiday coverage is required for two holidays annually
Work schedule includes every third weekend

Requirements

Active NY RN license required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg experience required
Two recent professional references from previous managers required
