Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist with previous Neuro IR experience and ARRT certification to join a stroke team on day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a medical imaging radiology department with two cath labs and two hybrid peripheral/OR rooms
• Specialize in neuro-interventional radiology procedures as a member of the stroke team
• 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM when not on call, and 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM during call weeks
• One week on-call followed by two weeks off
• No floating required
• Patient types and weekend/holiday rotations discussed during interview
• RN to patient ratio is 1:1 in relevant departments
• EPIC EMR experience required; Epic Cupid experience is preferred but not required
• This role is part of a specialized stroke response team
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Five-day orientation provided with 8-hour shifts
• Scrubs are provided
• Free parking is available
• Time off requests must be approved by management
• Permanent staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler
• License required if applicable

Requirements

• ARRT certification is required
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous Neuro IR experience required; IR-only experience is not accepted
• Stroke experience required
• Proficiency in sterile/scrub technique, Siemens equipment, and circulation for neuro-interventional procedures
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
