Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with an active MN license and strong emergency care certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Evening and night shifts on a rotating schedule, with 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• Shift start times include 0900, 1100, 1500, and 1900
• Floating to similar units may be required as needed
• Weekend shifts and holiday coverage are required as needed
• No on-call requirement
• Provide emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in acute situations
• Adhere to strict RTO guidelines, with time off limited to 7 days or less
• Must be flexible to cover holidays and weekends according to department needs

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required; MN temporary license accepted if valid for the contract duration
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• COVID-19 vaccination or valid religious/medical exemption required
