Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Medical/Surgical Telemetry position in Hawaii requiring an active HI RN license and strong arrhythmia recognition skills.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Care involves adult medical surgical and telemetry patients
• 12-hour variable shifts (day/night), including weekends and holidays
• EPIC EMR is used in this facility
• Local and travel candidates receive the same rate
• Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB are required for consideration
• Must not have pending licenses or certifications
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field is preferred
• Must comply with hospital vaccination and health screening requirements
• Holiday coverage is expected as part of regular scheduling
• Travelers may not exceed two years at this health system without a 90-day break

Requirements

• Active HI RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year recent (within last 3 years) full-time Med/Surg Tele experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Basic arrhythmia recognition skills required
