Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring a current CA RN license and Cerner charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an ICU setting on night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30)
• Float to all affiliated facilities as needed
• Uses Cerner EMR system with required experience
• 13-week contract assignment
• No blocked or self-scheduling options
• RTO is not permitted within the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year to be eligible as a traveler
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Holiday coverage may be required per department needs
• First time travelers may be considered

Requirements

• Active and valid CA RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Experience with Cerner EMR is required
• Must pass an EKG exam within 3 attempts
• At least 1 year of recent acute care experience
• One supervisory or director/manager reference from the past year required
