Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Oncology Clinic position requiring a MA RN license, BLS, and Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Position based in an outpatient Oncology Clinic infusion room
• Infusion room treats patients with chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy therapy infusions
• 25 chair unit with provider onsite during all open hours
• Monday through Friday day shifts, 8:00 am–4:30 pm
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• Epic EMR system used in the unit
• Administer chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy infusions as part of an interdisciplinary team
• No weekend, night, or holiday responsibilities
• Provider is available onsite during all clinic hours
• Dress code requirements will be communicated prior to start
• Two professional references required for consideration, including one from a Nurse Manager or higher

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Chemo certification preferred
• Minimum one year of recent, related nursing experience required
• Previous infusion clinic experience highly preferred
• Prior Epic experience required
• Must pass a pass/fail EKG test for consideration
• Cannot have prior infractions on nursing license
• Must reside at least 200 miles from the facility
