Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position with EPIC experience and FL or compact license required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with potential to float to Emergency Department Holding
• Assignment may float between Cape Canaveral, Holmes Regional, Palm Bay, and Viera locations
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 18:45 to 7:15
• Minimum of 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period
• No call responsibilities
• Uses EPIC EMR system; EPIC experience required
• Flu vaccine required annually between 10/31 and 3/31, with medical or religious exemptions accepted
• Parking is free with decal provided at orientation
• Scrubs must be solid color, matching tops and bottoms, with no logos or prints
• Must wait one year after leaving an internal contracted position at the health system before returning

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of PCU nursing experience required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Two references from a manager, supervisor, charge nurse, or director within the last year required
• First-time travelers accepted
