Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications and strong experience with EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities

Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
Night shifts with 3x12 hour schedule, 19:00-07:30
Rotating weeknights, weekends, and holidays required
Estimated patient ratios are 1:3-4
Floating to different units within the organization as needed
EPIC EMR is used and experience is required
Must provide care to a range of patients in a busy PCU environment
Required to cover rotating holidays as assigned
Must be willing to float to units within the organization as needed
First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license required
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
At least 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg nursing experience required
EPIC EMR experience required
Previous travel experience preferred
