Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position in Massachusetts requiring EPIC experience and an active MA RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
• Care for laboring and postpartum patients and newborns
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00pm-7:00am, three shifts per week
• No block scheduling allowed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Every other major holiday shift required
• Uses Epic EMR; experience preferred
• Must be willing to accept a local pay rate if residing within a 50-mile radius
• Maximum of 5 days RTO may be requested
• Bi-weekly orientation provided
• Scrub uniforms may be any color
• No first-time travelers accepted for this position
• Must work every other major holiday as assigned

Requirements

• Active MA RN license verified through NURSYS, including all past and present licenses
• Minimum 2 years recent L&D experience in an acute care setting
• Travel RN experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• 2 recent charge RN, manager, or supervisor references from L&D within the past 1-2 years
• Flu vaccine required during season
• Must provide skills checklist matching specialty
• Driver's license with matching address required
• Epic EMR experience required for most units
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
