Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with strong vascular experience and prior travel history in a large level 1 trauma facility.
Responsibilities
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting
- 10-hour day shifts, four days per week (06:45 AM – 5:15 PM)
- No on-call responsibility
- No block scheduling
- Care for surgical and trauma patients, including vascular and endovascular cases
- Work in a large level 1 trauma environment
- Holiday and weekend work may be required as scheduled
- Complete orientation to surgical and trauma protocols provided
- Team-based care environment with collaboration among surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff
- Must demonstrate experience and competency with a wide range of OR procedures and equipment
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Significant prior travel nursing experience in large level 1 trauma centers required
- Strong vascular and endovascular operative experience required
- High ratings across all areas on the skills checklist
- Recent (within last 2 years) references from supervisory clinical roles
- EMR experience relevant to the OR setting
- Current nursing certifications as required for the specialty
