Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in a resource pool setting with night shifts and current IA or compact RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in the resource pool of a hospital environment
• Work on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit caring for adult patients
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients as part of a resource pool team
• Must be prepared to float within the resource pool as needed
• Every other weekend shift required
• Must be able to provide COVID vaccination card upon request
• Local rates only apply to specific states such as IA, IL, MI, and OH

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association required
• NIHSS certification required
• License/certification verification dated within 30 days of start
