Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level IV Neonatal ICU position in Minnesota requiring advanced NICU skills and a current MN RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Care for critically ill newborns, including pre-term and extremely low birth weight infants
• Patient care includes infants with assisted ventilation needs, high frequency ventilators (JET and Oscillator), conventional vents, bubble CPAP, RAM cannula, and HFNC
• May explore opportunities for permanent placement after contract completion
• Must be proficient in managing ventilation and respiratory support for neonatal patients

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum two years of Level IV NICU nursing experience
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Experience providing pre- and post-operative care to critically ill newborns, including those with tracheostomies
• Strong knowledge of developmental care for neonates
