Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Vermont requiring an active VT or compact RN license and critical care certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a critical access hospital
• Varied night shifts are required
• Nursing care delivered to all age groups
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Provide direct, age-specific patient care in the Emergency Department
• Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegating tasks to other team members
• Compliance with all relevant state and federal health care laws and policies is required

Requirements

• Active VT or compact RN license required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and either PALS or ENPC
• TNCC and de-escalation training are required prior to the contract start date or must be scheduled for clinical orientation
• No minimum years of experience required
