Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of ED experience and Epic proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Emergency Department with an oncology patient population
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 19:00 to 7:30
• Patient ratio is 1:4
• Telemetry monitoring and IV starts required
• Floating within departments is required
• EPIC EMR is used and experience is required
• Oncology experience is preferred but not required
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
• Up to 7 consecutive days off may be granted at the facility's discretion for a 14-week contract
• Team members may be required to float to other units based on patient care needs

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Certifications required: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Experience with IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Epic EMR experience is required
