Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of scrub and circulate experience for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit in a Level I/II trauma teaching hospital.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit
• Day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, four 10-hour shifts per week
• Caseload of 5-10 cases per day
• Covers every other weekend and holidays as required
• On-call up to 3 nights per 7-day period from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Performs interventional body and neuro procedures, endovascular, abdominal, pelvic, and genitourinary interventions
• Uses sterile procedure setups, closure devices, EKOS, GE and Phillips Angio Suites
• Document using EPIC Radiant and Q-site
• Responsibilities include assisting with interventional body, neuro, endovascular, abdominal, pelvic, and genitourinary procedures
• First-time travelers accepted
• Locals considered at the same rate
• Return applicants must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year
• Hospital provides scrubs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience with scrub and circulate skills
• Active NJ license required at time of consideration
• BLS and ARRT certifications required
• Previous experience in a teaching hospital required
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Background and license must be clear of open or active issues
• Experience with Epic: Radiant and Q-site charting systems preferred
