Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient clinic role requiring outpatient experience and NJ or Compact licensure.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient clinic treating patients aged 15 and older
• Patient population may include individuals with cognitive disorders, concussions, or Alzheimer's/Dementia
• Typical case load is 13 patients per day within a 35 daily census clinic
• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm; Tuesday and Thursday 11:30 am–8:00 pm; one Saturday per month required
• May rarely float to neighboring campuses if needed
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• First-time travelers are accepted for this role
• Returning RWJBH staff must have at least one year separation before eligibility
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Free parking is available in any unrestricted area
• One Saturday shift per month is required
• May rarely float to alternate locations if the census requires

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact PT license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Completion of an outpatient affiliation required
• Graduation from an accredited PT program
• Current BLS certification required
• Open to new graduates
• Must have a clean background and license record
