Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position with night shifts, every other weekend, and a valid MD or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
Hospital setting with adult med/surg and telemetry patients
Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00–07:30)
Every other weekend required
Float within the specialty and to lower acuity units as needed
No on-call responsibilities
Holiday coverage required as scheduled
Provide care for adult patients with med/surg and telemetry needs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Follow all hospital protocols for safety and infection control
Standard hospital dress code applies

Requirements

Active MD or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and CPI certifications required
First-time travelers are accepted
