Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring an active MA RN license and AHA NRP certification.
Details
- Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
- Night shifts, 19:00-07:00, with every other weekend required
- 13-week assignment length
- Care for laboring mothers and newborns within an inpatient setting
- Uses Epic for electronic charting
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted
- Minimum of 2 years' recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AHA required
- Primary source license verification via NURSYS and State Board of Nursing required
- Annual flu vaccination required with no exemptions allowed
- Submission of at least two professional references is required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include supporting laboring mothers and collaborating with healthcare team members
- Epic experience preferred for charting
- No hospital-validated parking; local public transportation and paid parking lots available
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility and will receive reduced rates
- Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
- Proof of required credentials must be provided prior to consideration
- First time travelers are welcome to apply

Despite being the largest city in New England, Boston is relatively compact and highly navigable, making it easy to explore. Marked by a red stripe, the trail travels through the city's most historic neighborhoods, including downtown and the North End, concluding at the Charlestown waterfront. Plenty of modern delights also await, from whale-watching tours and exploring the Institute of Contemporary Art in the South Boston waterfront area to catching a Red Sox game at legendary Fenway Park.
