Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring an active MA RN license and AHA NRP certification.

Details

  • Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
  • Night shifts, 19:00-07:00, with every other weekend required
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Care for laboring mothers and newborns within an inpatient setting
  • Uses Epic for electronic charting

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted
  • Minimum of 2 years' recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AHA required
  • Primary source license verification via NURSYS and State Board of Nursing required
  • Annual flu vaccination required with no exemptions allowed
  • Submission of at least two professional references is required

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include supporting laboring mothers and collaborating with healthcare team members
  • Epic experience preferred for charting
  • No hospital-validated parking; local public transportation and paid parking lots available
  • Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility and will receive reduced rates
  • Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
  • Proof of required credentials must be provided prior to consideration
  • First time travelers are welcome to apply
