Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health position in Washington, DC with 2 years of experience and Homecare Homebase/OASIS expertise.
Responsibilities
- Work in home health setting covering assigned zip codes within Washington, DC
- Typical schedule is 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Patient care delivered in patients' homes throughout the District
- Use of Homecare Homebase for documentation and OASIS for assessments is required
- May be required to float to cover another zip code as needed
- Mileage is reimbursed from first to last patient of the day
- Responsibilities include providing comprehensive physical therapy assessments and interventions to homebound patients
- Mileage should be tracked and submitted weekly for reimbursement
- Personal vehicle use is mandatory for all home visits
- Candidates may be asked to float between zip codes as needed based on staffing demands
- First-time travelers will be considered with relevant experience
Requirements
- Current BLS certification required
- Maryland physical therapy license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
- Experience with Homecare Homebase and OASIS is required
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle with valid driver’s license and insurance
- First-time travelers accepted if experienced with OASIS
