Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health position in Washington, DC with 2 years of experience and Homecare Homebase/OASIS expertise.

Responsibilities

• Work in home health setting covering assigned zip codes within Washington, DC
• Typical schedule is 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Patient care delivered in patients' homes throughout the District
• Use of Homecare Homebase for documentation and OASIS for assessments is required
• May be required to float to cover another zip code as needed
• Mileage is reimbursed from first to last patient of the day
• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive physical therapy assessments and interventions to homebound patients
• Mileage should be tracked and submitted weekly for reimbursement
• Personal vehicle use is mandatory for all home visits
• Candidates may be asked to float between zip codes as needed based on staffing demands
• First-time travelers will be considered with relevant experience

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• Maryland physical therapy license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Experience with Homecare Homebase and OASIS is required
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle with valid driver’s license and insurance
• First-time travelers accepted if experienced with OASIS
